Speaking of Filipino Christmas Lanterns:

Paskuhan Village in the province of Pampanga is Asia’s only Christmas theme park and the third of its kind in the world.

The great Christmas lanterns of San Fernando, Pampanga can reach as big as 40 feet in diameter, using as many as 16,000 glowing bulbs.

In 2003, then Secretary of Tourism Richard Gordon transformed Paskuhan Village into the Philippine Cultural Village (Nayong Pilipino) of North Luzon or North Philippines HILAGA.

It will feature the best of Central and Northern Luzon, showcasing its history, culture, music, food, arts and crafts, folklore, songs, dances and products, among others.

The new “Nayong Pilipino” will also be a venue for trade and tourism exhibits, consumer shows and daily musical performances featuring popular and upcoming talents from all over the regions in various genres of performances and an eclectic choice of music from the “Kundimans” to popular music, brass bands and more.

Not only Christmas, but everything else Filipino is showcased in this Village.
