Philippine Heritage Books

To those interested in the Philippine Culture, these are new books to have:

Manila Envelope
-a collection of essays on Manila by David Guerrero together with Lourd de Veyra, Krip Yuson, Jessica Zafra, Randy David, Matthias Urban, Ambeth Ocampo, Conrad de Quiros, James Paterson and Uro de la Cruz; published by Sanserif Inc., and sponsored by the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Lonely Sentinels of the Sea
-a book documenting lighthouses built during the Spanish colonial period which stand in solitary, decaying splendor in the farthest outposts of our islands, written by architect and architectural historian Manuel Maximo Lòpez del Castillo-Noche and published by the University of Santo Tomas Publishing House.
