Jericho Rosales Joins Manila Genesis
Jericho Rosales will now be joining the likes of Gary Valenciano, Kuh Ledesma and Jamie Revera in the roster of singers managed by Manila Genesis, which is run by Angeli Pangilinan and Gina Martinez.
Echo, as he is known, was with Star Magic, ABS-CBN’s talent center, since 1997. There might be some controversy here (as there always is in showbusiness).
Why is he moving to another management company? Wasn’t he happy with Star Magic? Does his girlfriend Heart Evangelista, who signed up with Genesis in January, have anything to do with it? I’m not saying she forced him to do it. But it’s just convenient to have them, a popular “love team”, in the same company. 
At any rate, I wish him luck in this new move!
“As of today, Heart and Echo are still with ABS-CBN, the network (as talents, not contract stars),” Martinez told Inquirer Entertainment on Tuesday. “We are handling only his music career.”….
The two have received other offers from the network, said Pangilinan. “I had a meeting with Cory Vidanes (senior vice president for TV production). She said they’re thinking of a soap opera for them. I’m meeting with Malou Santos (Star Cinema managing director) for Heart.”
According to Pangilinan, Rosales “is very grateful to ABS-CBN … but wants to focus on his music [for now]. It’s therapy for him.”
Echo and his band, Jeans, will release their first album, “Loose Fit”, all over Asia. Watch for it!

Asap. In Virginia USA, we would like to see you
making a movie again with Kristine Hermosa or
Heart E. Hope you the ABS, CBN will give you a
big project for soap opera. We also hope that ABS
will give you a chance to pair with Angel Locsin or
Marian Rivera making a movie together. If the
ABS, CBN will not give you a big project, why dont you move to another station. Here in Virginia we like GMA, but you are still there in

Hi Echo, Bravo!!!! I salute you. On your generation your the best actor I’ve seen on Phil movies/soap operas. I’ve been away for so long that I could’nt keep up all Phil Shows until I discover to watch thru YouTube. I came across on one shows, I guess that was ELive or Asap last year promoting your new teleserye w/ Carmen Soo from Malaysia. From then, everytime I get home from work, First thing I do is to turn on my computer, so I could watch you both. The teleserye which is KAHIT ISANG SAGLIT was Fantastic, It’s so real that all the cast are doing so great esp. you and Carmen Soo. She is so beautiful a very fine woman, talented ,smart and she could sing, but most of all she really acts so natural like you too. I’ve been so crazy and addicted about this KIS. It was a good theraphy for a person like me that last year I was affected with this global crisis right after the show started. I was out of job, for the first time. Got a lot of time so in order for me not to stress out myself, I took a short mini vacation and relaxing time and thinking back home to the Phil to retire maybe? Forget everything, stayed late at night just to watch KIS episode per episode,makes me feel good. Fantastic, great story line. I don’t even turn on my TV to watch the news all over the world. Who cares, the teleserye is much better to watch rather that getting crazy about the economy.
Now, I’m working, thank God…but still I keep watching the KIS, even it’s finished. I called my nephew there to buy the DVD(whole episode) but only vol 1 to 3 is out. I can’t wait the rest. So I have to go back again to youtube to watch over and over again.
I can’t wait for your next project (movie)with Carmen Soo. She mentioned that at UKG/ your last tv appearance together with Carmen.
Echo, I don’t know you, a little advice, stay the way your are humble and kind, keep your feet on the ground. Watch carefully on what you do, if you do it right or wrong. Patience is a virtue of success. Remember! “A Prayer” binds and build stronger faith on him. I believe on it, that’s the reason why I got a job right away.
Anyhow, I just want to share my feelings about this KIS how amazing, so overwhelming teleserye I’ve watched that l told to all my Filipino friends.

actor in the Philippines. I’ve seen Kahit Isang
Saglit and all I would say is the best filipino
movie or series , excellent acting and quality
storyline, it has everything, powerful love story,
suspense, action and a bit of comedy, it is truly
worthseeing. Carmen Soo is also a great actress.
All the characters did a good job, they are all
talented actors and actresses. Even Cristine
Reyes who is a newcomer, wow she has talent
in acting too. I am proud of Jericho as a filipino
because I know Jericho will reap more success
as an international star.
