Wanderings

You never know where wanderings take you.

I took a couple of days off to work on this. It’s a personal project which caused me some late nights, not being highly experienced in coding. But the bones are there and I like how it came out. In the course of my wandering in the name of that hobby (scrapbooking, not coding), I came across this guy’s blog:

Paolo LilocProfessor Stick

His name is Paolo Liloc, and he has self-published the book you see above.

Professor Stickman lectures on 12 lessons that he’s learned from life. Humorous and practical, funny and imaginative, this book is sure to bring a smile to any person ready to take on life and the lessons it brings.

It’s availalbe at Lulu.com, an independent publishing company. I’m not paid to tell you about any of this. It’s just good to know that if ever I have a book I want to self-publish, I know where to go.

Gw jeepney1Also through Paolo’s blog, I first stumbled into Flip-Tops, “the destination for hip, fresh, stylish Filipino inspired tees.” Like this one:

Flip-Tops tees come in men’s and women’s variations.

So there you have it, the story of my wandering from a personal project, to a blog, to a book, to a t-shirt.

Who knows what I’ll find the next time I wander around the web?

I was just wondering if you have any idea on the origin of your name? Because the name Liloc is not a very famous name here in the Philippines… just wondering if we belong to the same clan. RSVP
