A tear fell from my eyes as I watched this clip. Even in the midst of hardship and adversity, we Filipinos always manage to prevail. It is so great that this clip was able to capture that spirit.

I have forgotten about being Filipino. Since I left the country nothing but hard ache, heart ache that cause me too much pain. Even now still stoned by being American Filipina. Which, I don’t understand. As much as I used to love Philippines, and dami nang manga naghirapan sa pamilya ko. Puro no lang gossip and nothing but to feel as though a person need to be better than anyone else. I can’t even stand being a FILIPINO!!!!

So, please don’t tell me how people suffered. here in America Pinoy are still always thinking they are above everyone else who aren’t like them. TOO MUCH DRAMA..TO MUCH of everything..the only thing I am thankful for was for the courage and Respect I have for my mother an what the Philippines had given me at a young age to be a survivor. Sad really, each time a group of Filipino’s sees me already I’m an outsider, because I don’t look the part and when I speak tagalog and still set aside from the rest of the group. AND THIS IS THE REALITY,,so don’t sell me about adversity and hardship..those were then those were the people who sacrificed their lives a hundred years ago, now it’s just a bunch of pile horse manure.

Maraming Salamat at Mabuhay kayo!

Ann, if you’ve forgotten being a Filipino the least you can do is to stop insulting Filipinos. You’ve no more right to comment about the character flaws of Filipinos. I pity you because if you’re already at the twilight of your years you will long to go back to the land of your birth. Furthermore, since you’re already a naturalized American citizen try to write grammatically correct English.

why is that on 0:15 the video show some kids being addicted to rugby? ftw it is not even related to the meaning or our national anthem..

do they mean that children from the Phils are that kind since from the beginning?

For those who are not proud to be Filipinos, particularly Ann, I feel very sorry for them. Anywhere they will go, no matter how much they will change their noses or colors or accents, they still have that lineage. If you think Fiipinos are horse shit, you may well be a bullshit.

  21. September 7th, 2008 | 11:40 pm

Am PROUD to be PINOY……were so lucky to have our superheroes sacrifice their lives..MABUHAY!!!

ang ganda ng audio. ang galing ng pagkakakanta. dinig ang puso sa boses. pero nagulat nga ako sa 0:15. meron nga nagrurugby na mga bata! bakit ganun? i know we aren’t perfect and we have skeletons in the closet (lahat naman yata ng bansa) but…airing our dirty clothes to the whole world on youtube??? is that necessary? if it is…that ‘necessity’ is making me uncomfortable and sad..
