Lone Blogger Wants to Travel
You probably know that my co-blogger and lovely sister has gone off to Florence, leaving me to tend to things here at Filipina Soul. While I wish I were with her and her family, she did promise to send me some chocolate. So I’ll be good and continue to slave away while waiting for her to return. Keep me company, OK?
Florence. It reminds me of the movie “While You Were Sleeping”, which is one of the all-time favorite movies in my house. Sandra Bullock’s character, Lucy, has dreamed all her life of seeing the city. Me, I’ve always wanted to go to Scotland, ever since I read the books of veterinarian/writer James Herriot. Someday, when our kids are better able to travel, I’ll have hubby take me there.
Outside of the Philippines, do you have a city/country you’ve always dreamed of visiting?

don’t worry….be happy. i will keep you company. my question is why go to Firenze at this time of the year? the weather there sucks. the only compensating thing is that less tourists. why only chocolate? ask her to buy you u some leather purses or jacket at the flea market behind the Duomo di Firenze. like as i said, this is like Baclaran market right behind the church. the leather goods are genuine Florentine leather.forget about the chocolate, go and email your SISTAH and ask for at least a Florentine leather wallet or purse!
She heard that there’s this really good and rather rare chocolate that’s made there. It’s prohibitively expensive here in the U.S. That’s the chocolate that she promised me. But leather’s great too.

I would love to go visit mainland China on my next long trip. Take a side trip to Cambodia and Vietnam on the way to New Zealand. That’s my plan..at least for now.
