Hot doughnuts! The Krispy Kreme madness is about to hit Metro Manila. Yep, local Pinoys will get a chance to find out what the fascination with these delectable glazed treats is all about.

Krispy Kreme in the Philippines even has a website. You can join their “Friends of Krispy Kreme” club to get up-to-date information. And I heard that the first customer in line for the 8:30 a.m. opening of the Taguig site will get a one-year supply of doughnuts! The first 500 customers will get limited edition Krispy Kreme original t-shirts.
The price? The original glazed doughnuts will retail for P30/each or P265/dozen. Assorted flavors will be P38/each or P335/dozen.

Time to hit the asian market! Krispy Creme is losing big time here in California. If you like really sweet greasy dougnuts, then Krispy Creme is the choice for you. I don’t fancy super sweet doughnuts. Don’t get me wrong, KC doughnuts are good and the dough is just right for denture wearers who lost a lot most of their sweet teeth to sugar enriched diets. I’d go or the traditional pinoy “dip your pan de sal in coffee” routine for breakfast.
krispy creme originated in the southern states. i think the southeners likes very much sweet theeeenggs! also, when we were in manila last march, there was this donut shop at the fort that we tasted. there was a long line…it was also like krispy creme. i don’t go for sweetthings very much, i have diabetes type 2.
