Sandara Park was really really popular during her heydays at ABS-CBN. At the height of Star Circle Quest, she won big big votes—-around 1M votes to be exact—-that no one seemed to surpass. Even Kim Chiu never surpassed that, though Kim Chiu popularity is now big compared to Sandara. Also, at the height of her career, she want back to Korea supposedly to pursue college studies. She really planned that before, it’s just way that initialy, she was stopped by ABS-CBN management since that time, she was promoting CAN THIS BE LOVE together with Hero Angeles. After that, she fled to Korea only to find out that she was already late for enrollment, so she spent few months being trained under YG entertainment. When she returned to Philipines, she realized she was given cold shoulder by fans, and her “mania” was toppled by Pinoy Big Brother. Her projects became lesser and lesser each day, and all of a sudden, she was abandoned by ABS-CBN management in focus on popularizing Kim Chiu.

Time really flew so fast when she became a star, earning many projects and endorsements, then more than a year later, she went almost zero.

Another thing, Sandara revealed that her family was in turmoil. Her father left them and prior to that, he was hurting his mom. Few months later, he was imprisoned due to… estafa? I think.

It’s a good thing they shipped back to the philipines. If she stayed here and become loyal to ABS-CBN, her career will surely go to nowhere. It’s such a good thing that she was trained by YG Entertainment because, though ABS-CBN has introduced stars popular as hell, their training and management is so-so compared to YG.

Not so lucky were his co-patriot drug takers, actors Yoon Sol-hee (28) and model Yeh Hak-young (26). Yoon may be sentenced to 7 years of prison and hard labor and a 13.2 million won fine and Yeh may receive 5 years of jail time and slapped with a 2.26 million won fine. Okay, I am damn biased on Joo Ji Hoon and effin’ angry on him, but it’s unfair if he will only be sentenced to 1 year in prison while his fellas would suffer 7 whopping years. He was involved not only in drug use but drug trafficking as well so why only 1 year in service?

As for Sandara Park, I am trully proud of her. Sure, she seemed like starting again, but her improvement is 10x better than whe she was in ABS-CBN. It’s a great move for her to ship to Korea with her family. If she chose to be loyal with ABS-CBN and delusioning herself with hopes of getting another project from the said network, she will really get nothing. Besides, her image here is really so-so, she was really made like stupid and her naivity is made worst. I guess ABS-CBN should stop making bloating their ego like “If not with us, Sandara is nothing” kind of thing. Besides, it’s ABS-CBN who eventually never gave her a chance. If they’ve found someone “marketable” they will make that one a priority, neglecting the other.

Anyway, If Dara continues to improve, she will surpass Kim Chiu like hell. Kim Chiu is good at acting, but she’s a fashion so-so, her voice is so-so, and dancing is so-so. Have a talent in contortioning doesn’t mean exuding greatness in dancing.

What happened to her is the worst thing that could ever happen to a girl. That would haunt her the rest of her life. Poor girl, indeed. But she is determined to fight,which is good. She will survive this, I think. She has become such an effective actress and many sympathize with her, so maybe she will again have projects.
