Veterans Reunification Bill Reintroduced

Here’s some news that could cut the 20-year wait for some immigration visas to the U.S.

U.S. Sen. Daniel Akaka has reintroduced a bill to make it easier for children of Filipino World War II veterans (to) immigrate to the United States.

Akaka said the bill would reunify families who are separated because of a backlog in visa applications to the State Department.

its good that they introduce that bill in the US Senate again, many would benefit from this bill when this law is passed. I’d like to praise Senator Akaka and all the members involve for their support to the Filipino WWII vets.

We are very much thankful for Senator Akaka and his group for bringing out the Reunification bill. Indeed, they are good leaders. But I want to know when this bill be implemented, because I haven’t seen my parents for 6 years now and it hurts a lot when I think of them without us their children beside them especially in their sunset moment of their life. They keep postponing their vacation hoping that they could get us soon. What should we do in preparation of this bill?
