You probably noticed that I (Grace) have been writing less in the past two weeks…(oh, and if you haven’t.. uhmmm… now you know!)
So I just want to let you know I’m still here and breathing, but I am taking a breather and catching up on my health. Nothing serious really. I hope to be back in some shape next week and really finding a better schedule for me.

Did your hgh school ever have those annual science fairs where you’re forced to think of an experiment, make poster boards and strut your research for all to see? My high school was big on that. But for the love of my profession, I can not remember what I did for my science fair project! Which probably tells me how simple/poor it was.

Filipino Film Well-Received in Cannes

Filipino director Brillante “Dante” Mendoza’s “Foster Child” received a 10-minute standing ovation at the Festival de Cannes Directors’ Fortnight. The special section of the festival is aimed at recognizing the best work of directors from all over the world.
The film, which stars Cherry Pie Picache, Eugene Domingo, Jiro Manio, Kier Segundo, Alwyn Uytincgo and Dan Alvaro, is about a poor foster family and a 3-year-old boy placed in their care. It is produced by Seiko Films’ Robbie Tan.
