Happy First Blogger Anniversary
… to me…! 
At b5media, and here at Filipina Soul.
I can’t believe it’s been one year since I began blogging for b5media. I admit when I wrote my first posts at Filipina Soul, it was such a nerve-wracking first week because I wasn’t sure I can do it. I wasn’t sure this was for me. I didn’t know if anyone would actually care to read what I wrote (outside of my family). I didn’t even know a thing about Wordpress!
Now that we’ve been together for a year, wow… my thanks to you. Like I said the first time, “we’re in this together and the success of this blog highly depends on readers like you.” This is always true. Always. So my deepest appreciation goes to the Filipina Soul readers who like this blog, love the Filipinos… and well, maybe getting to like this blogger too.
I hope you are enjoying the community, because I certainly am. I can’t wait for the next few cupcake-years to roll along.
My thanks also to b5media, an awesome company of people to work with. They really mean it – they love their bloggers.
Oh, those cupcakes.. I baked them, allergy-free… as my way of celebrating this first year, and the years ahead. They sure taste delicious.
