Here are the answers to last week’s set #6 of Filipino riddles (Bugtong):
1. Isang panyong parisukat, kung buksa’y nakakausap. One square hankerchief that talks to you when you open it.) -
SULAT (LETTER)
2. lumalakad ay umiiyak, sa patay ay nakikipag-usap. (Tears fall as it walks; to the dead it talks.) – (Hint: the answer is a pairing)
PLUMA at PAPEL (PEN AND PAPER)
3. Walang pintong pinasukan, nakapasok sa kalooban. (It didn’t need an open door, but it entered into the soul).
PAG-IISIP (MIND)
4. Isang bahay ng mayaman, napasok ng magnanakaw, nakuha ang kayamanan walang nakibo sa lagayan. (The house of the richman was entered by a thief, who got all the treasures and left nothing behind).
