A Quote from Manuel L. Quezon

Here’s something to inspire and encourage Filipinos everywhere. This is a quote from Manuel L. Quezon, 2nd President of the Philippines (1935 – 1944).
“I want our people to be like a molave tree, strong and resilient, standing on the hillsides, unafraid of the rising tide, lightning and the storm, confident of its strength.”
as quoted by Leon S. Del Rosario via Inquirer

Thank you for including my Father’s writing (as quoted by Leon S. Del Rosario through Inquirer) in your website. Yes, he loves to read biographies and historical events about our country. He is a constant contributor to Inquirer and Liwayaway magazine. He is now 87 years old but not too old to write. I just found your website through browsing while I’m on my lunch break. I am working and living with my 8 year old daughter, Patricia, here in Daly City, CA
Thanks again! Keep up the good work! Have a nice day!
