Filipino tied first for US Open Chess champ
The World Chess Federation Master candidate, and US Open champ is a Filipino!
Anton Paolo del Mundo scored 7.5 points out of a perfect ninoe, to share the first place with chess grandmasters Alexander Shabalov, Boris Gulko, Sergey Kudrin and Michael Rhode and International Masters Benjamin Finegold and Michael Mulyar.
Del Mundo is a software engineer, and had graduated from University of Maryland, College Park. Maybe I can ask for an interview!
