Wanted: Yolanda Ricaforte, ERAP’s co-conspirator
Yolanda Ricaforte is wanted by the National Bureau of Investigation
(NBI) for her alleged involvement in former president Joseph Estrada’s illegal gambling operations during his time in office. She is also ERAP’s accountant and one of five people ordered arrested by the Sandiganbayan.
For approximately two years, Ricaforte allegedly audited the collection and disbursement of the illegal payoffs to Estrada, and kept a ledger in which the individuals making payments were given aliases, reported ABS-CBN.
Ricaforte left the country in 2001 when Estrada was ousted by “People Power II” and she has been in the FBI’s wanted list ever since.
Unfortunaly, the NBI can not find her in the Philippines or in the United States and there was no confirmation that the FBI arrested her either.
The Sandiganbayan also issued arrest warrants against Jaime Dichaves, Alma Alfaro, Eleuterio Tan and Delia Rajas.
