Airbus A380 Super-sized Jet Test Flight in Manila

The jumbo jetliner Airbus A380 made a test flight to Manila on Thursday to demonstrate that it would have no problem landing in the airport despite its large size.
“The landing had no troubles at all, absolutely no problem,” said test pilot Peter Chandler at a press conference afterward.
Airbus senior marketing manager Julian Manhes said this was part of test flights by the A380 to show it could land and could “fit in today’s airport infrastructure,” with no need for any adjustments to accommodate the aircraft.
The Airbus A380 is the largest commercial jetliner and can accommodate as much as 850 passengers depending on the lay-out selected by the customer.
I wonder which airline would bring the Airbus to the Philippines first. The release of Boeing’s Dreamliner has been delayed, so the Airbus could be the first jumbo airplane we’ll be able to try, in a couple of years maybe.
Would you be comfortable flying for 15+ hours on a mega-gigantic plane like this?
