The Headline Says It All

This headline by the Philippine Daily Inquirer may explain it:

Erap-pardon-headline

Arroyo was finally acknowledged by Erap that she is THE president, not him.

The irony of it all is that, after accepting the presidential pardon, Erap still insisted that he is innocent.

“I may have committed mistakes in my career in public service, but I assure you corruption is not one of them,” Estrada said at San Juan City Hall to the cheers of some 3,000 supporters who welcomed him home.

How can he accept pardon for something that he continues to insist he never committed?

duh!!!! so what else is new? erap pa? in this country lulusot at lulusot ka. artista ata si erap! in fairness to erap he is not evil, it think he has a good heart. sus! ilan ba ang chicks and hen niya? hmmm….galante pa! nasobrahan lang. yun lang kulang siya brains. all heart lang!
seriously though, pgma i think did the right in pardoning him but it was just too soon. sana pinatikim siya a month or two in jail para makapag-isip naman ng kaunti, kaunti lang ha. But I feel something is up here. I wonder what’s brewing….hmmmm… think…..but we are a country full of surprises! kaya nga exciting life in the Philippines. Tawa lang ng tawa and kaya natin lahat. siraan lang ng siraan. wala lang. basta lang. pero one thing we are a people full of skills and talents. I miss the days before martial law. remember the debates of our senators before? wow! grabeng husay! talagang knowledge and logic. ngayon? patawarin ang english nila. english pa lang yan ha. hindi ko na lang isali ang laman ng salita nila kasi parang walang laman. wa sense. parang personalan and the motives, questionnable. ay ambot! anyway, sa manila lang naman ito. balik na lang ako province where I can smell fresh air, eat healthy and fresh uli na food. I can hear the chirping of the birds, the breeze of the wind, the kokak of the palaka during a rainy night, the hampas of the waves in the shore. the green trees in the mountains. there are still good things in life, indeed! and it’s all free! The only thing these people should remember is that after all that is said and done you will be judged not with all your achievements and wealth but what you have done to His will. If you have lived a righteous life and have obeyed His commandments. Oh well! We always forget and take for granted what matters most. YUn lang!
