Bugtong Bugtong (Filipino Riddles) Set 14

question mark The school year has resumed. I know there are once again many students who are looking for riddles or bugtong. Since we always want to be helpful here at Filipina Soul, here’s the latest installment:

1. Hindi hayop, hindi tao, pumupulupot sa tiyan mo. (Not an animal, not human, it circles your belly.)

2. Malaki ang tiyan, sinulid ang laman, Gumagawa ng tahanan, Arkitekta ng kalikasan. (It has a big belly that contains thread. It makes a home; it’s nature’s architect.)

3. Kapag nag-iisa ay tamad, kapag marami ay masipag. (When alone, it’s lazy; when there are many, it’s hardworking.)

4. Lambat ay kanyang dala-dala, sa ilog at dagat nagpupunta. (He carries a net and goes to rivers and the ocean.)

5. Maliit na tela sa kalawakan, inaawitan ng mga mamamayan. (A small fabric in the sky is sung to by citizens.)

    correction lang po. ung sa english translation po nung bugtong is wrong. ang dagat po in english is sea.
