Philippine Folk Dance: Tinikling
Tinikling (bamboo dance) is my favorite among the Filipino folk dances.
The dance consists of at least one team of two people hitting two parallel bamboo poles on the ground, raising them slightly, then clapping the poles against each other near the ground with a rhythm. Meanwhile, at least one dancer hops over and around the clashing poles in a manner not entirely unlike jump roping. Usually the dancers use certain rhythms or steps. (source)
It requires great skill, else one’s ankles will be caught between those bamboo poles! (ouch!)

Hi, my name is Haleh, and I just love the Tinikling. It is so fun, my grandparents are from the Philippines and i am just learning this dance [i'm 12]. It is incredibly fun, and a great workout. I think everyone should try it.

the tinikling is very nice dance of the filipino and the no.1 or the philippines.
the tinikling is so much fun, im from canada but my girlfriend is from the philippines and they have a get together around christmas where they dance there traditional folk dances and i will be dancing the tinikling in it this year, its great!

Rickyboy secret to dance tinikling
first, blind fold your eyes and wear nothing.
put your R hands to the back of your neck
then put your left hands to your feet
and cross your feet then jump 10x then
lay down in the bamboo stick then they will lift it
then jump make it 5times.stand up the stick the climb on it to reach the top then say “Obama i love you”
then punch the person who hold the stick then kick the other holder.then get the bamboo stick and smash the judges outside the stages.
then run for your lives.!!!!

magbigay nga kayo ng mga kanta na may kasamang nota wala kasi akong mahanap na kanta na merong nota………yung kanta na kumpleto na may mga kasamang nota………
basahin nyo tong paliwanag ko ha……. dapat kong may mag reresearch na kailangan dapat kumpleto lahat walang labis wsalang kulang k………..kasi mahihirapan yung magrereaserch na walang mahanap baka malagutan pa sila k…….kung may assignment at kailangan magreaserch paano nayan walang mahanap o paano bye …….basta sundin nyo ang sabi ko ha baboshhh…
