The six films featured in the Berlinale, as the Berlin Film Fest is known in the circle, include –
“Tirador“ directed by Brillante Ma. Mendoza, which also got the honor of being part of the Berlin Forum, the most daring of the Berlinale program. It’s where new or unconventional films come together and find an audience known for its enthusiasm and discerning cinematic eye.
“The Amazing Truth about Queen Raquela“, a joint-production between the Philippines and Iceland. The film is directed by Olaf de Fleur Johannesson and stars Raquela Rios.

“Balikbayan Box” a Philippine/Dutch/Swiss Co-production directed by Mes de Guzman
“Years When I was a Child Outside” (Family Multi Channel) directed by John Torres
“Tribu” directed by Jim Libiran
The festival runs February 7-17 in the German capital. This year, the festival will focus on music in cinema. The spotlight will be on Martin Scorsese’s picture, “Shine A Light”, which features outtakes from two Rolling Stones’ concerts.
