I have to agree with Ms. Daligdig. The mangosteen has captured the attention of the medical community here in the US. By the way, I am Rowena Acohon, born and raised in Manila. I was also once a patient of Dr. Carlos Magsanoc. He had my malignant tumor removed from my upper ascending colon in Sep, 2001. Thank God, I didn’t have to undergo chemotherapy! After that, I was very cautious with my eating habits. Working in Singapore for 3.5 years helped a lot to achieve a healthy diet, because most of the people whom I used to work with are health-conscious people. Plus, they have a fruit store inside the facility where I work in, I get my fresh apples there everyday…we know that apples are a good source of anti-oxidants too. Then, I moved to Daytona Beach, Florida where me and my husband are introduced to XanGo. Of course, I was skeptical at first so I did my own reading to find out more about this mangosteen juice. i am Kristianne Elliza Corpuz also called as K’anne. i am 14 yrs of young, i live in davao City.
i am the 1st grandchild of Bella Flor C. Pastoriza, she also has colon cancer. She 4 kids and 8 grandchildren. i was grade two when she knew that she has colon cancer, but then it was terrifying becasue she was at stage 3. she never told us but then her children can’t help it and told us what happened. on the 2nd day of the day she knew she had cancer. she went to makati med and had her operations done. her Doctor was, Dr.Carlos Magsanoc. she had alot of tests and operations. but then she thought of her family and her grandchildren and then she fought. we did not stop praying at of course the worry thing. if i was going to describe my grandmother and say something about her i would proudly tell that she is a great and a strong person. People with strong faith can live as lon as they wished to. she is a Certified Public Accountant in Davao City. she is now 52 running 53 this June 10,2008. i love my grandmother. Mommy Bella is a woman full of courage. Colon Cancer is not a joke. it would not matter what age are you. and oh! by the way it was hereditary passed i could have one too… but im not scared because i know God is with me… To our 1st lady Madam Cory Aquino i can just tell you that pls be strong for the people who loves you especially your family.. my grandmother wants to tell you that DON’T loose hope… in every problem results of a great outcome if you just believe in God…

At first when I learned it, I felt sorry for them. I could not hardly believe it. We know for a fact, that our former president, Mrs. Corazon Aquino is such a very disciplined person especially when it comes to health. It must be very difficult for her and loved-ones to accept it. But I know in time, since this is the work of God, the whole Aquino clan will just consider this as the ultimate test of their faith.I am looking forward to seing them both, Mrs.Corazon Aquino and daughter Kris, endure this pain and pray for their speedy recovery. I believed that with God nothing is impossible. For He said, “For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
