Newest trend in handbags: Bazura’s recycled juice containers
BAZURA BAGS is the fashion trend these days. It’s as green as green can be. It’s the ultimate in recycling.
Take a closer look, the bags are made directly from “pre-consumer” juice packs.

These bags are made utilizing ‘Pre-Consumer’ waste packaging gathered from juice container manufacturers in and around Manila. This waste material is normally deposited into landfills.
What’s even more special about these bags is they are made by a women’s co-op in the Philippines that set up a Livelihood Project assisted by the local village council. With almost no capital, the women found a very clever way to support themselves.
Children collect over 50,000 used drink containers that would otherwise get thrown in the trash, and sell them to the co-op. The packs are sanitized and the women make them into attractive, durable bags.
The Bazura bags even have fruit trays and laundry bags and other accessories.

Wow, that’s brilliant! Such fun and energetic colors, and so clever to utilize “pre-consumer” juice packs (I might have some issues if it was “post-consumer”…)
How great that this material isn’t being wasted but it being applied to a very fun handbag design.
