British pop group Swing Out Sister will have a concert on April 7, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. at the Araneta Coliseum in Manila. The group, originally a trio, was formed by Andy Connell (keyboards), and Martin Jackson (drums). Corinne Drewery, a former fashion designer and model, does the vocals.
The band’s newest album, released just last month, is Beautiful Mess

I chaperoned my sister, a rabid,avid fan since SOS’s popularity in mid-80’s. The image (fun, warm, jazzy) of yore is still the image of hence. SOS, despite being Brits, are true troopers and entertainers. They didn’t disappoint. My sister and her generation almost filled up the Coliseum. Mind you, they can stashed from their budgets extra sum for an aftertaste of their youths. So to SOS, thank you for a wonderful night and memory trip. Do please come again. And don’t wait for 17 years.
I envy our kababayans who watched the concert. I saw them last 1992, I think, and I didn’t make it to their Chicago concert a few years back. I hope they come back to Chicago. I love SOS and been playing their new album Beautiful Mess for days now.
