Pinoy designer wins Project Runway Winnipeg/Canada!
A big WOOHOO to another Filipino!
Noel ‘Nodja’ de Leon, a fashion designer who originates from Taytay, Rizal won first place in the Winnipeg leg of the Canadian version of Project Runway!
Nodja de Leon impressed the judges with his use of unusual materials like doilies, placemats and curtains. Pinoy talaga, ano! Take a look at these photos (here) of de Leon, with his winning creations.
Another Filipino, Alex Espinosa, took the third place. de Leon was tied for first place with Brynn Wiedman. Congratulations to our fellow Pinoys!
