The Philippine Blog Carnival launched
I’ve been looking for some way to showcase the different Philippine cities in some form of group-blogging project. Thanks to a series of emails with Julius of The Four-Eyed Journal, we are re-launching the Philippine Blog Carnival!
Here’s a blurb from Julius:
It is a digest of blog posts by Pinoy bloggers blogging about anything that captures their interest be it a city in the Philippines, Pilipino culture and being Pinoy, common experiences, the stories of Juan dela Cruz among others. It is a demonstration of the diversity and energy of the Pinoy blogging community.
We’re reviving the series with the theme “Manila, My Manila” and you can write anything about the city (ok, the whole metropolitan) – experiences, favorite places and spots, food, people, science and technology, literature and arts, economy/politics or news. The carnival is open to all Filipino bloggers and blogs as long as the approach is not spammy.
Take a look at the Philippine Blog Carnival for more information or email me if you have questions. Then submit your post using this link. Deadline for submission is Friday, June 27, 2008. We will post the round-up and shower you with link love on Saturday June 28, 2008.
Now if you want to host the carnival, worry no more, Julius has even more good news for you!
Spread the love and word around! And let’s get some good promotions out for our country!
