Larawang Pinoy: What Reminds You of Home?
I stumbled on this Flickr group called Larawang Pinoy (Filipino Photos). One of their group projects is to document the photos that remind Filipinos abroad of home. Whether these are “images of what you miss” or snapshots of faraway places that trigger a fond memory, Larawang Pinoy provides a place for sharing and reminiscing.
Do these photos remind you of home too?

Rain also reminds me of home. Lalo na yong bagyo!
The Philippines has been more home to me, than my native Austria and so I am so happy to have found Filipino soul. My children were born in the islands, my happiest and my saddest time I spent there. Thanks to all you people sharing thoughts, riddles, stories and photographs. Paalam and kindest regards Sigrun
PS.: I am trying since a long time to call my dear friend Mrs. Leonie San Augustin at Baguio. She used to teach at several Universities there, she was in charge of the Baguio Museum and she writes columns in Baguios newspapers. She lives in Jungle town 20. Perhaps her telefonnumber has changed. since my trying to phone is not succesful. Please people in Baguio help me to find the correct phone number. Thanks a thousand times. sigrun Campos-Engel
