Survivor Philippines Episode 2
On the first morning on the island, the Jarakay Tribe was shown scrounging for materials to make their camp on the northeast end of Koh Tarutao.
The other pressing need of all the castaways was food. Jarakay gathered several mushrooms. Gigit and Marlon seem to be the in-tribe experts on edible mushrooms (though, it seems that they don’t agree on which are edible and which are not).
Tribe Naak was hard at work constructing their shelter and trying to start a fire.
Food, Food, and Water
A couple of the Naaks went crab fishing on the nearby shore. Patani showed her knowledge of food from the sea. Her tribemates would do well to follow her example.
The ladies also constructed a nice shelter for themselves. Nikki was shown sleeping at a couple of instances, while her tribemates worked.
Meanwhile, the guys found their well of water, and had a good long drink.
Back to the ladies, who managed to free themselves from their chains (was that allowed?). Their shelter was done, and very well so. They next turn their attention to making fire. Vern was shown diligently focusing on the task.
The guys still have no shelter, yet show signs of bickering. Marlon sure talked a whole lot….
