Survivor Philippines Episode 21: A Feast of a Reward
At the Tribal Council shown on Episode 20 of Survivor Philippines, Jarakay joined Naak as spectators. They heard the Naak members talk about them and saw Vevherly get voted out.
At the beginning of Episode 21, which aired on October 13, 2008, Naak learned that they would be spending the night at the Jarakay Camp.
With the reunion, it was a time to test old and new alliances. One of the old alliances was between Jace, JC and John, who had a pact from when they were still in the same tribe. Marlon and Charisse were the ones who entertained and took care of their guests. According to Marlon, that was part of his overall strategy for the game.
For a Taste of Lechon
This reward challenge had a delicious reward at stake, lechon (roast suckling pig), complete with rice and sarsa (special sauce). What a motivation to the hungry tribes to win! The challenge involved swimming out to a platform, diving for a key in 8-10 feet of water and putting together a 4-sided puzzle. Marlon couldn’t get his key out of the water and had to call for help. John went to his aid after a 3-minute penalty wait, but still couldn’t find the key in good time.
Naak won the lechon, a happy birthday feast for Cris!
Naak was given 30 minutes to eat their lechon meal. Jarakay had to stay with them at the table but not partake of the feast. Kiko left the table early, apparently after finding that Rob was a bit insensitive to the hungry Jarakay tribe.
