Pacqiao- de la Hoya: The winning round and post interviews

Round by round, the Philippines’ very own Manny Pacquiao was the better fighter! He was knocking Oscar de la Hoya left and right, and the Golden Boy did everything he can to fight back, but he was no match.

The eighth round was too much, and de la Hoya’s doctor asks the fighter if he wants to continue "he’s too fast!", and de la Hoya backs out.

Manny goes back to his corner and kneels down, overcome by emotion. "The pride of the Philippines holds his gloves aloft." (Here is a fan-made video of the fight, in lieu of the other videos.)

The post fight interviews are interesting, especially from Oscar’s Pacquiao, especially when the reporter asked him about fighting Ricky Hatton (who was listening in!). Watch the video after the cut.

Manny didn’t even have a scratch on him. Amazing!
