Star-stuck Filipino fan
I haven’t met many a celebrity in my lifetime. I think the last I got close enough was in high school when Pops Fernandez grazed our Flores de Mayo celebrations. I tried to keep my cool but honestly did gawk at her beauty. But twenty years forward and many years more mature, and I think I’d still get star-struck should I bump into one. And others?
Most gawk respectfully from afar. But unabashedly and unrelentingly. As if sending telekinetic message of “I know you! I know ALL about you! Look at me for the love of God! There…so what’s up? What the hell are you doing here? Wow, you can walk! Everyone, look — she can walk! Quick, hand her an award or something! Wow!”
