6-year old Cebuano boy attempts world-record long distance swim

Attempting a world record is cool enough, but a 6-year old?! That’s a scary amazing feat!

Justin Junio, a 6-year old swimmer from Cebu will attempt a rare 9-kilometer swim from Hinutungan Island to Lapu-Lapu City on November 8, Thursday at 6 a.m.

Currently holding the 2006 record for being the youngest swimmer to cross the Mactan Channel to Lapu-Lapu City (6-km long), this time Junio wants to break the world record for long distance swimming!

We’ll be praying for a safe and successful swim.
