Ad network for pinoy blogger!!!

by Grace on August 14th, 2006

ATTENTION PINOY CO-BLOGGERS!

layout 01

Abe Olandres, the revered owner of Pinoy Top Blogs is organizing an ad network for Filipino blogs with K2 Interactive (a comm agency and top solutions provider). The ad network will sign up top Filipino blogs and package them for online ad campaigns. In fact, K2 Interactive will be running an ad campaign next month with one of its clients.

Fifteen blogs have already been signed up this week, and Olandres hopes more will follow in the weeks to come. Straight from Yugatech, Olandres’ blog:

So what are the traits of a potential candidate for this ad network?

Blogs with niche topics
Bloggers who have a loyal subscriber base (RSS feeds)
Consistent high-trafficked blogs

Bloggers that are influencers in their field, credible and transparent
We will start by looking at the Top 100 blogs in Pinoy Top Blogs, review the blogger’s profile (so be ready with your About page), and assess them accordingly. I have sent out a short-list of blogs that I can vouch for but will keep on looking at the list for more (yes, the more the merrier). Those who are interested to join may leave a comment and provide a link to your About page (please include your blog’s target audience, demographics and stats). I suggest making your SiteMeter/Statscounter publicly viewable.

So, get ready with your blogs and rally your reader-base to increase your pageviews, and put you on the top 100! Post a comment or link to Yugatech if you want to be included.

[…] What good does this do? Well, primarily that we get to be recognized by the Philippine blogging community, but more importantly it gets local Philippine advertisers and companies to notice us, and maybe, just maybe, include us in their ad campaign… which is a good thing, right? […]
