Reality is, many Filipinos like her are talented, AND performing in places outside the Philippines or the future their kids.

I’ve heard about her is from the news. Then, I searched the Internet more about her and found her here. As I watched her performance in YouTube, it really touches my heart, not ONLY by her excellent singing voice, but her fervent hope to have a good future to her two girls. Madonna is only one of the thousands of Pinay mothers & sisters who left the country bringing hope that the family they left behind will have a good future. Mabuhay ka Madonna…and the rest of our OFW!

Advice for you Mado: keep on being gracious to the host Ant and Dec and to the judges. Always be grateful to them whether their comments are good or bad. Always acknowledge the audience because they are so good to you when they gave you two standing ovation. And most of all be thankful to the Lord for His gift to you, your voice. Be humble and show them that Filipinos are the best in this whole world. We will pray for your success. May God shower you all His blessings.

Ms. Ortiz, I fully agree with your advice for Madonna to be constantly gracious and humble to everybody no matter what the odds may be. I just want to make objective or maybe a corrective remark when you say that Filipinos are the best in the world. I think it’s better to say that “Filipinos are among the best in the world”. We cannot solely own that status of being the best as every countries would have their own best talents. Anyway, the competition which Madonna is into represents only Britain’s talents and is not a world wide affair. I know you that you don’t mean that intentionally but you probably just want to give Madonna a morale support for this competition. I support you on that. Cheers!

i maybe a lost relative but i’m not claiming affinity due to your fame. like you, i am ofw but based in the middle east. i just posted this message to signify my moral support. admittedly, i downloaded to my cell phone the audition and showed it to my friends and colleagues. needless to mention my personal pride. i have a niece pamela decena birung (pam_birung@yahoo.com)working as a nurse in london. she must be very proud of you, too. may god bless you all the way.
