Canon Philippines’ 10th Year Anniversary Photo Contest
Canon Philippines is celebrating their 10th anniversary with a photo contest, and they want to see smiles and happy faces!
Here’s their announcement:
Filipinos are an irrepressibly joyful people - where else would people greet tanks with flowers and rosaries, and laugh away traffic jams and typhoons? Where else would there be a whole vocabulary of smiles and laughter, from hagikgik to the halakhak, from the ngiti to the ngisi?
In our tenth year in the Philippines, we want to capture that joy. We want to see the Philippines with a fresh set of eyes, a new set of lenses.
We want to see smiles.
We are inviting everyone to hit the road, visit any of the 7,107 islands, and capture any of the more than 7,107 different smiles.
Deadline is on September 15, 2007 at 12 noon! So you still have time but not a lot so get those photos submitted!
