Round by round, the Philippines’ very own Manny Pacquiao was the better fighter! He was knocking Oscar de la Hoya left and right, and the Golden Boy did everything he can to fight back, but he was no match.
The eighth round was too much, and de la Hoya’s doctor asks the fighter if he wants to continue "he’s too fast!", and de la Hoya backs out.

It’s touted the biggest fight in boxing. Tonight, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and Oscar "Golden Boy" de la Hoya will prove who is the best fighter in the welterweight division.
Filipinos want Pacquiao to win, of course, so much so that Nike sponsored a website for "online prayer offerings" in behalf of Pacquiao, something that Cornholiogogs writes is more like like god-worship. Actually, even without that depiction, Filipinos already hero-worship the fighter.

I know this fight is big. But I never thought it would be this HUGE! So majorly humongous (I’m redundant now) that Nike sponsored a website dedicated to the boxing match between of Manny Pacquiao with Oscar de la Hoya.

Celine Dion invited Charice to duet with her at the “Taking Chances World Tour at the Madison Square Garden” on September 15!!!!
Charged with emotion, Celine introduced Charice to the crowd, who obviously learned of the Filipino star way ahead of this night. The applause is so overwhelming for this little girl. The diva even gave her tips on dealing with her nervousness.

Can you believe this is happening? Filipinos, aren’t you just totally proud of this little girl? SHE IS SO GOOD!!!!!
And Celine is so nice to let Charice take center stage here.
