Celine Dion Meets Charice at Madison Square Garden
The World Tour 2008 of Celine Dion “Taking Chances” has kicked off, and the diva is going to the Madison Square Garden on September 15-16, 2008! I would be surprised if tickets haven’t sold out yet, but Ticket Master is still advertising the show.
Why am I promoting it at Filipina Soul? Well, for one. It IS Celine Dion.
And, for another. Filipina singing star Charice is Celine’s special guest star! Celine Dion just happens to be the girl’s idol, and she was in tears when they finally met. In case you missed it, here’s how Charice got invited.
If you can’t come to the concert, you can watch the Oprah Show on Friday September 19 and Oprah will show clips of the “Dream Duet” of Celine and Charice . Charice has become David Foster’s new protege and he is truly impressed with her, so this girl’s gonna go places.

I have been watching Charice since she first came on The Ellen show and the on Ophra and fell in love with her. Her voice is Magic. I am so proud of filipinos this year. First Arnel Pinada and now Charice. Mabuhay filipinos!
