Filipina Soul

Comments are not spam

by Grace on March 23rd, 2007

The authors of Filipina Soul, that’s me and Maricar, deeply appreciate everyone who places their comments and participates in the very active discussions on this blog. I learn a lot more about the posts I write whenever you add your comments, and though I try to reply as much as I can, there are posts that have taken a life of their own and became almost like forums, that really, the readers themselves take care of each other to reply back and forth. And I love it like that! That’s exactly what good discussions are all about.

And thanks to Roxy, a regular reader and a Jumong fan, I was alerted of comments that went missing from March 15-22. I was in the Philippines that week and I must admit that I came back to over 2000 akismet spams that I just massed-deleted. So my deep apologies to anyone else whose comments were lost. I recovered some from the Akismet spam folder this week but comments from last week may have been gone forever.

IMG 2553Again, I am very sorry for this and will do my best to go through the spam folders more diligently so that none of your valued comments will get lost. And if you do find that your comments didn’t get through, don’t hesitate to email at gracei@b5media.com .

I subscribe to a few of your posts to keep me updated on incoming comments, especially those that I made comment on. However, for some unclear reasons, my email add received voluminous emails from FS on posts/comments that I didn’t subscribe to. Fortunately, I was able to unsubscribe right away but, just like you, I had to mass-delete those unwanted items. Happy ending naman, FYI lang po.

Gina, I’m sorry to hear that you have to unsubscribe just to delete the comments. I’ll let my admin deal with this. what are the dates when these happened, so I can make a report.

oops, sorry Grace but I can’t remember when exactly it happened, and I’ve already emptied my trash so I can’t possibly recover it. But I think it happened at the time when both of you were in Pinas munching on the succulent pusit ..;)

Hi! I cannot seem to access the comments section of the Philippines’ Best Universities post. Maybe the permalink structure was changed.
