Our post here at Filipina Soul that has attracted the most number of comments is “Pinoy Meets World“.
Hosted by the beautiful tandem of Paolo Bediones and Miriam Quiambao, GMA launches a new show called PINOY MEETS WORLD where the duo goes on a worldwide adventure to explore the different countries where Pinoys work, live and travel to. And knowing how widespread Filipinos have migrated, this ultimately means around the world!
We have many readers who have asked for the show’s contact information. Again, we would like to remind you that Filipina Soul is not affiliated with Pinoy Meets World, nor with GMA7. But we did manage to find this information for you:
GMA has a forum on their website where you can discuss your favorite show with other fans. The forum is not dedicated only to Pinoy Meets World. But you can certainly join or start a thread about the show. Registration at the site is required.
I’ve saved the best for last, of course. For you, true fans, here’s an email address specifically for the show: Pinoymeetsworld@gmanetwork.com. I can’t tell you who reads the emails sent to this address, or whether they’ll send you a reply, but you can certainly try it and see what happens. Good luck! :)

to tell you the truth, I’ve been wanting to write them for a chance to go to my dream country. I saw that email addy flashed on the TV screen during their pilot episode. I still have it in my email and cellphone address books but haven’t gotten to writing them. When I finally do, I’ll let you know what happens. And if I get picked up, I promise FS of the scoop. ;-)

dear pinoy meets world,i am writing in behalf of my parents esp of my mom…in ‘98 we lost my younger sister of nephrotic syndrome. my parets had to go to davao and start e new life. i and my brother were left in manila bec. we already have our own families.the lose of my sister and their transfer to a place where she has no friends and relatives give my mother this sadness…but she s tryin to live normally bec. she has no choice…she joined the love flock group to strengthen her faith and it does…then my brother went to australia two years ago with his family… this ofcoursed made us happy but also sad bec. he’d be so far away…then early this year he was diagnosed with lupus erythematosus, the same desease that killed the ex-president ferdinand marcos.and this again saddened my mom. their monthly allowance somehow became meager bec. my brother cant work as much as he’d like and ofcourse there are bills for med. check-ups… then we learned that he has blood in his urine. my mom is now being haunted again by my sister’s death…she cries daw everynight. she becomes sickly and has to work harder…yes, she is workin in a water refilling station to suport the her, my father, and my two brothers.my papang has no work… i really am sorry for my mom. i cant help her financially coz what my husband erns is jaz enough to get us by everyday…then there s nga the worries about my brother who is so faraway… one time my mom called me and told me that if the Lord wants to get my kuya na, sana wag muna coz he is so far away and she wants to see him first…and she cried…she wants to take care of him pa…but how? my brother says he s just fine but my mom wont believe him. she thinks he s just sayin it to keep her from woryin…please help my mother see my brother…she is always worried and i am afraid of her health. she is already 51 and payat…please grant my wish for her…she deserves this because since 17 she has devoted her life to her family…and i love her…yours trully, jonah riza t. candeloza.

I’m Irene Lugasan Caing 29 years of age, married and from the city of Tacloban. I wrote on your program to join in your tour around the world. I’m your avid fan on your shows since it was extra challenge pa lang. I wrote on you not just only to ask help from you but just because this opportunity comes once in a lifetime. I would like to travel but I can’t coz I have financial problem and I have to prioritized my family. I’m the bread winner, I’m working her in one of the private school, and I’m the only one earning. My husband don’t have permanent job, he’s just a house husband but sometimes if there is gig’s outside he’s working as a drummer in a band. He’s a music lover and he’s good!… for me. We would like to join as a family, coz I’ll enjoy more if we have family bonding at the same time. We got married with my husband very young, that we never enjoy to much with our company ‘coz we have obligation by early age, but still I’m so happy in my married life, we know we could not travel even just around the Philippines because our money or my salary is just enough for our daily needs. I haven’t experience riding in an airplane, going to the carnival ( like enchanted kingdom ) same with my husband coz we just grow in a average family without recreation we don’t want to happened this to our family with our children never experiencing going outside, seeing outside Tacloban, we just gone only up to Cebu and it was only shouldered by the company that time coz it was a teacher’s day, that’s the only time we have given the very first time the privileged to go outside. I would like to meet my Uncle Judy, in Hong Kong, he’s working as a nurse, we haven’t meet for about 5 years already. We have communication, I missed him so much. He worked their because he want to help his brothers, sisters, nephew and niece. He’s still single by that age coz he’s generous that what I liked on him. I hope you could a response on my letter. These things is one of my greatest ambition in life, that I know I can’t do it and this is the only program that could help fulfill my ambition in life.
