Filipino Language Center Opens in California

Right on the heels of the opening of the Philippine-Korean Cultural Center in Seoul comes the Bahay Kubo Center for Philippine Culture and Arts in California.
From the Asian Journal:
BAHAY Kubo Center for Philippine Culture and Arts, a nonprofit organization that was established in 2005 by alumni and friends of the University of the Philippines, is set to open on Saturday, July 15, 2006, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. (and every Saturday thereafter) at 10630 Sepulveda Blvd., Mission Hills, CA 91345.
Language classes, arts and crafts and cultural activities will be offered.
