Kung Hei Fat Choi!

As if the New Year (Jan 1) wasn’t enough to assure us of positive things ahead and to hope anew; the Philippines joined the world in celebrating the Chinese New Year, in welcoming the Year of the Fire Dog. If you have been in the area of Binondo, Manila (the heart of this country’s China Town), you’d think you weren’t in tropical Philippines at all; what with the colorful and gay festivities which are trademarks of any Chinese New Year celebration.
I was raised Catholic, ( I am not Chinese) but growing up with a Chinese family in the heart of Manila exposed me to this culture of fun, food, fireworks and mystic that compares to no other.
Join me (born in the year of the ox) and the Philippines to turn the bad into good in the Year of the Fire Dog:
Ox: 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997
Your reliability, industry and common sense will work wonders for you this year.Complications will not prosper and your path will be clear of obstacles and opposition.
Your knowledge will expand and leading you to your true place.
Expect someone special to enter your life.
You have the patience of the ox and this year, it will pay off.

Now that is a promise of excitement! ;-)
Recently a very good friend just told me: It’s a new year. His (God’s) mercies are new every morning.
I can’t wait!! :-P
