Learn How to Speak, Read and Write in Filipino
A new book that promises to help anyone communicate in Filipino came out last month. The book is “Speak, Read and Write in Filipino” by Dr. Victoria Rey.
There are twenty interesting and practical lessons on everyday situations in this book. Non-Tagalog speakers will find these lessons very useful in engaging in a conversation at home, store, school, or different locations and occasions. This will also help them to understand easy reading books and write a letter, short stories and responses to given directions.
This would be a useful resource for Filipino-Americans who want to reconnect with their family’s language, and for non-Filipinos who plan to visit the country and be able to get more from the experience. Available in paperback edition from Amazon.com at as an e-book from Outskirts Press.

Higit sa lahat, nag-papasalamat ako sa mungkahi mong aklat aralin sa kaalaman ng pag-salita, pag-basa at pag-sulat sa wikang Pilipino. Mahalaga sa ating kultura ang ating sariling wika. Mahalaga rin na ipagpatuloy ng ating mga kabataan sa Pilipinas at sa ibang bansa ang daloy ng siging bilang isang tunay na Pilipino!
