LiBreRia: My Kind of Library
I admit I am an ironical bookworm. Because I hate the library: I hate the stale, old-book aroma that usually lingers the air and I most especially hate the unusual quietness. I am one of those that enjoys reading and studying with a soft music playing in the background while I can recline or lie down whenever I please.
So I steered clear of libraries in most of my student days. Id usually take out (or copy) the books (or pages) that I need; and go browse them in my own bunk where Id be most comfortable reading while having my favorite cup of coffee among others.
Alas, my kind of library has finally been born: Libreria, a bookstore and coffee shop located in Tomas Morato, Quezon City, is turning a year old on October 27.
Argh! Why do they always have my kind of places in some big city, too far away? :((
