Philippine Mangoes in Spain
We all know Philippine mangoes are unsurpassed in flavor and aroma. They are simply the best in the world. Now, Filipinos in Spain will get a chance to taste some real authentic mangoes from the Philippines.
Some 1.5 tons of fresh Philippine mangoes will be sent to Spain before the year ends in a trial export, Agriculture Secretary Arthur Yap said Wednesday evening.
“It’s a good way to start … to get into the Spanish market, particularly since it has 70 million tourists a year for our high-value products,” he said.
Watch for those mangoes and snap them up if you see them. Share them with your friends too! I know that will be hard, but you see, if more people get a taste of these mangoes, they will be in higher demand. Then there will be a greater chance that they will be exported to Spain, and elsewhere, regularly.
