Speedlinking Filipino cuisine - recipes and restaurants

Thought I’d speedlink some posts that talk about the Filipino’s favorite topic - FOOD.. (Well, maybe celebrities would be most favorite topic but food is way up there too)

:-)

Group Recipes feature bistek (Filipino slang for beek steak) recipe submitted by Luv4food. It looks yummy and easy to prep.

Chowhound is on the lookout for better-tasting, nongreasy Filipino cuisine in the PHX and Valley cities. He critiques other Filipino restaurants in the area and recommends a great bakery that sells pan de sal (Filipino bread).

Heads up, Australian Filipinos! The Food Pornographer recently had buffet at the Manila Restaurant, in Cannington Australia. If you can taste the food by these photographs, aaahh, then your mouth will water!

Another post of the Food Pornographer about the same restaurant features features popular Filipino desserts and other treats. Check out.

Stef of Noodles and Rice offers some tips for making the perfect lumpiang gulay (spring rolls). And it’s NOT made with just cabbages, mind you.

If you have Filipino recipes you want to share with us, give us an email and we will dedicate a post for it.
