Symposium on Filipino-American History

A SYMPOSIUM on “A Century of Challenge and Change: The Filipino American Story,” will be held on Saturday, May 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a Jazz reception from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Rizza Auditorium in CSU Maritime Academy.
Dr. Dorothy Laigo Cordova, Founder and Executive Director of the Filipino American National Historical Society, will be the keynote speaker for the event.
The symposium is sponsored by the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Program in collaboration with the Bay Area Filipino Centennial Committee and the Filipino American National Historical Society (FANHS). This is a FREE admission event.
