When overseas Filipinos think about flying, they probably think about flying home to the Philippines. For most, this would be a flight that’s at least several hours long. This is the type of flight wherein you could literally lose a calendar day. I would think that the type of seat you get would matter a whole lot.
It turns out that Filipinos are the least fussy when it comes to seating preference. These results came out in a survey conducted by Synovate of more than 10,000 people in 13 countries.

Irish expat-blogger The Serious Nuts tells a personal anecdote about how two Filipinas cut their way through a line to savor Irish Lechon (similar to our version) at a gourmet event.
They not only cut the queue but also got most of the cracklings (lechon skin) and did not even bother to purchase anything. To see two Filipinos doing it, I cannot blame them to think that all of us are like that.

Do you drive “in the red”? Or are you “full of gas”?
Christine’s newest video at Happy Slip takes a funny look at the way Filipinos (at least her mom) give driving direction, using a GPS (General Pilipino System).

Christine’s mom forgot one other major trait of Filipinos when giving direction. Asked where a location is, we point with our lips toward the direction.
