It’s touted the biggest fight in boxing. Tonight, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and Oscar "Golden Boy" de la Hoya will prove who is the best fighter in the welterweight division.
Filipinos want Pacquiao to win, of course, so much so that Nike sponsored a website for "online prayer offerings" in behalf of Pacquiao, something that Cornholiogogs writes is more like like god-worship. Actually, even without that depiction, Filipinos already hero-worship the fighter.

It’s no surprise that Filipinos are great performers. We love to sing and dance and be on stage (this writer exempted). Now, another kiddie performer Philip Nolasco has stars in his eyes when he who won the recent singing contest Philippine Dream Academy’s Little Grand Star Dreamer, with the song “You Raise Me Up”.

The Pinoy Idol 2008 competition is down to the final three contestants, Gretchen Espina, Jayann Bautista, and Ram Chaves. Last night at SMX of the SM Mall of Asia, the three finalists gave their best and last performances to a wildly cheering crowd.
