“Paraiso”: the Gawad Kalinga movie trailer
There is a new Filipino movie worth watching - “PARAISO” - a trilogy of true stories of triumph and survival.
Watch the trailer and be moved.

The Gawad Kalinga trilogy “Paraiso” features bankable stars such as Maricel Soriano, Michael V, Ricky Davao, Cesar Montano. The movie opens in Philippine theaters on July 4.
Gawad Kalinga was launched in 2001 to care for Filipino survivors of natural disasters. Now, GK actively works in poverty-stricken areas to improve quality of life by providing decent homes and resources for the poor to become self-sufficient. - Asian Journal
Proceeds for the the movie will be used in building more Gawad Kalinga housing communities. It was already shown in more than 20 cities across the US and Canada, 10 other European countries, and other Asian countries. A reportedly P200M was raised in the US alone. I’ll find out if there are other cities currently showing this movie.
“We don’t conduct fund-raising in most of the premieres. But many of the Filipinos who came to watch wanted to get involved with GK,” said Dylan Wilkes of GK. “It’s either they give money or express interest in starting their own GK village in the provinces where they came from.”

Grace,
I’m commenting about the movie “Paraiso” based on the trailers. I’m just grateful to our actors who put their busy schedule aside to act gratis on a very noble project.

Praise be Jesus and Mary!
regarding the movie po, gustong-gusto ko sanang mapanood ang full movie ng “Paraiso”. can you give me 1 copy of it?
about my status in CFC? you can ask Brod Rene Breava of CFC davao.

I WAS AMAZED OF THE TRILOGY MOVIE OF PARAISO. I DO CRY UPON WATCHING IT. AND I REALLY APPRECIATE FILIPINOS BECAUSE CORRUPTION AND POLITICAL ISSUE IS NOT A HINDRANCE TO HELP PEOPLE, BUILD HOUSE AND TO GIVE DUE RESPECT AS THEY ARE PEOPLE TOO. THEY HAVE FEELINGS TOO. TO THE ARTISTS, IM LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE YOU AGAIN IN A MOVIE THAT IS REALISTIC AND FACT…. GOD BLESS AND MORE POWERS…..
