The much-coveted Apple iPhone

The rest of the Philippines maybe high on mobiles, but I am certainly NOT a cellphone girl. My very barbaric Nokia 61-something is actually obsolete I can’t even find it the website! But it suits me just fine for calls and texts. Recently though I’ve been looking over other’s shoulders as they tinker with their cool mobiles. I told myself I need something like theirs for my blogging career… har-har-har.

So last weekend, I lusted after the T-Mobile Blackberry but choked at the $250 tag.

Today, I almost fainted…

Fellow Pinoys, the Apple iPhone.

iPhone

A revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching“…
It lets you control everything at the touch of your fingers.
No more buttons. *jaws dropping*

Cellfone9’s self-proclaimed Supreme Arch-Monarch Jayvee Fernandez has the lowdown on this baby at “Apple iPhone at MwSF 2007 and first impressions“. But then he says something that made me raise an eyebrow at this “iPhone roundup” so I don’t know. What do you think, ‘Mr. Bean’, should I get one? When is this available in the Philippines?

Oh, and if you are, like the rest of RP is, ga-ga over mobiles, gadgets, etc. check out cellfone9. Jayvee is the man, and recently promoted as b5’s Technology Channel Editor.
