Remember the dramas aired on Philippine radio many many years ago? Zimatar! Gabi ng lagim! Remember those?!?!? Remember the sound of horses galloping (takatak! takatak!)? The play by play of each action and reaction (ayan na! Malapit na ang mga kalaban. Lumalapit na sila. Bumubunot sila ng baril, babarilin nila ako. Bang! Ay, tinamaan ako, nahuhulog ako sa kabayo ko!!!!)

I listened to my share of these dramas, that’s why I got such a kick over Ang Buhay ni Boy. This podcast, made by Jayvee Fernandez and company, is an attempt to bring back Philippine Radio Drama. Yes, please! Do bring it back! In podcast format now, but with the same drama and improvisations that I loved!
